AI SUMMARY from recent reviews

Owners say the light makes the Morse tree click within minutes, and it lands as a gift and as a game for two. A few say dashes need a longer hold than they expected, and fast senders find it slow.

Learned SOS in the parking lot

Opened it in my car and tapped away before I even drove home. By the time I got in I could send my name without looking at the chart. The light walking down the tree just makes sense.

    Our new date-night game

We each have one now. He taps a word, I read the lights and guess. Loser does the dishes. Ridiculous how fun it is.

My son is teaching me now

Bought it for my 10 year old who is obsessed with secret codes. Two days later he was correcting my dashes. The circle and bar pads make the pattern click for kids.

The gift box is genuinely nice

Bought three for Christmas presents. The black box with the gold pattern looks far more expensive than it was, and the keychain chart is a nice extra.

Hold the dashes longer than you think

Took me a few tries to get the timing. A dash needs a proper hold, a little longer than I expected. Once I slowed down it read every letter. Big hit at the cabin with the kids.

Questions

Before You Tap Send.

Do I need to know Morse code already?

No. The whole alphabet is printed on the card as a tree. Tap, watch where the light goes, and the letter you land on is the letter you sent. Most people send their name on day one.

How does it tell a dot from a dash?

A quick tap is a dot and a longer press is a dash. It's tuned for learning pace, so hold dashes a beat longer than you think. If you already key Morse fast, it will feel slow: it's built for learning, not contest speed.

What battery does it use?

One CR2032 coin cell, the same kind many car key fobs use. One comes with your card, and we add 2 spares free with every order.

How big is it?

A little smaller than a credit card and thin enough for a pocket, with a key ring hole in the corner.

Is it a good gift for kids?

Yes for curious kids around 8 and up, with an adult nearby. It's made for teens and adults, and it runs on a coin battery, so keep spare batteries away from small children.

Can two cards talk to each other?

Each card works on its own. With two, you take turns: one person taps a word, the other reads the lights and decodes it. That's why the 2-card pack is the favorite.

When will it arrive?

Orders ship within 2 days and arrive 7 to 10 days after you order. The dates above the button update to today's date.

What if it's not right for me?

You're covered by our 60-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 60 days of delivery with your order number and we refund you in full. No need to send it back. Every card also has a 1-year warranty.

Why not buy a cheaper one online?

Many cheap listings ship without a battery or instructions and take weeks to months to arrive. Ours comes battery-included in a gift box, with 2 spare batteries and a keychain chart free, tracked delivery in 7 to 10 days and a 60-day guarantee.
