MirrorVeil is a thin, mirror-silver window film. In daylight the outside of your glass turns into a mirror, so the street sees its own reflection while you keep the light and the view. It goes on with water, trims to any pane and peels off clean. One-way privacy works when it is brighter outside than in, so close the curtains at night.
Mirror outside, clear view inside
Goes on with water, no glue
Peels off clean, renter-friendly
Cuts glare and blocks most UV

THE STREET-FACING PROBLEM
You Wanted Big Windows. Not an Audience.
Ground-floor rooms, glass front doors and patio doors put your private life on display every time someone walks past.
Your living room is a shop window. Anyone on the pavement can see who is home, what is on your screen and what you are wearing.
Curtains steal the day. Close them for privacy and you are switching on lamps at noon.
Frosted film blocks you too. You stop being seen, but you also stop seeing the street, the weather and who is at the door.
There is a film that turns the glass into a mirror from outside while you keep looking out.

HOW ONE-WAY FILM WORKS
It's Not Frosting. It's a Mirror That Only Works One Way.
Light decides who sees what. By day the street is brighter than your room, so the outside sees a mirror and you see the street.

From the street the glass is a mirror. Passers-by see themselves, not you.
-
The mirror coatingMicroscopic metal layer on PET
When the street is brighterIt bounces most of the daylight straight back outside.
→What you noticeFrom the pavement your glass looks like a mirror.
-
The light grey tintLets part of the light through
When you look outThe brighter street shines through, your darker room does not.
→What you noticeYou see the street clearly, a shade darker, like sunglasses.
-
The static cling faceNo glue layer at all
When you spray and smooth itWater lets it slide into place, then static holds it flat.
→What you noticeBubble-free glass that peels off clean when you move.
VERSUS CURTAINS

HOW TO INSTALL
Water, Squeegee, Done. No Glue Involved.
The one mistake is too little water. Keep the glass wet and the film slides right into place.
Tiny water bubbles or a light haze can show for a day or two while the last water dries. They clear on their own.
THE 8AM COFFEE
Blinds Up. Robe On. Nobody Watching.

The lazy Sunday. Read on the sofa by the window in whatever you slept in.

The knock at the door. See who is on the step before they can see you.

The work call. Your desk gets the daylight and your screen stays yours.

REVIEWS
One Reviewer Still Gave Us Three Stars.
AI SUMMARY from 100 recent reviews
Reviewers say the glass turns into a mirror from outside on the first day, the view out stays clear with a light tint, and the film goes on with water and peels off clean. A few note that tiny water bubbles take a day or two to clear and that night-time privacy still needs curtains.

The postman waved at himself
Put it on the glass panel of our front door on Saturday. Now anyone walking up the path sees a mirror, and I can still see who is there before I open the door.

Home office on a busy street
My desk faces the pavement and I used to keep the blinds half shut all day. The film went on in one go and I have my daylight back without people peering at my screens.

Renter approved
I can't drill or glue anything in my flat. This is water and a squeegee, and I tested peeling a corner off: clean glass underneath. The tube it comes in is nicer than I expected.

My daughter thinks it's a magic mirror
We did the street-facing living room window. She spends ages pulling faces at it from the path. Inside you just see the street with a slight tint.

The size finder saved me
I measured in inches, the finder picked the roll and told me how much I'd trim off. It fit our door glass with almost no waste.

Be patient with tiny bubbles
Bathroom window looks great from outside. A couple of tiny water bubbles took two days to disappear, so don't panic if you see some at first. I'd get the kit again.

Brighter kitchen, private patio doors
Our patio doors face the neighbours' garden. By day I see their fence and they see a mirror. The dog loves lying in that sunny spot now.

Read the part about night
Works exactly as described during the day. At night with the hallway light on you can see in, which the page does say. I've added a blind for evenings. The film itself is good quality.

GOOD QUESTIONS
Before You Measure.
Does it work at night?
No, and nobody's one-way film does. It works when it is brighter outside than inside. After dark with your lights on, people can see in, so close curtains or blinds in the evening. In the daytime you get privacy with the curtains open.
How do I pick the right size?
Measure the visible glass inside the seals, then choose a roll at least that wide and that long and trim the extra. Tap Find my size next to the size menu: type your width and height in inches or centimeters and it picks the roll with the least waste.
I measure in inches. Will it fit?
Yes. Every roll is listed in both: 40 to 90 cm wide is 15.7 to 35.4 in, and 100 to 500 cm long is 3.3 to 16.4 ft. The size finder accepts inches and the free tape measure shows both scales.
My glass is wider than 90 cm (35.4 in). What now?
Use two strips side by side and butt the edges together. The size finder works out whether one longer roll covers both strips or you need the 2 Rolls pack.
Can I still see out clearly?
Yes. From inside the glass gets a light grey tint, like wearing sunglasses, and you keep the view of the street and the daylight.
Is it really removable?
Yes. It holds by water and static, not glue. Lift a corner and peel it off in one sheet; wipe the glass and you are done. It suits rentals.
Which side of the glass does it go on?
The inside, on clean, smooth, flat glass. It does not stick to textured or frosted glass.
Does it work on double-glazed windows?
Yes, on the inside pane. Mirror films reflect heat back into the glass, so on very large double-glazed panes in strong direct sun, check with your window maker if you are unsure.
What's in the Install Kit?
A 15-piece tool set (felt-edge squeegee, corner squeegee, precision knife with 5 spare blades, safety cutter and scraper) plus a 300 ml fine-mist spray bottle. Every order also gets the free 2 m pocket tape measure.
